WHO ARE WE?
We are the PCDC – Primary Care Development Centre: an independent, not-for-profit training & development resource for the health & social care workforce.

WHERE DO WE OPERATE?
Primarily, we operate across Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire, but we are beginning to establish a presence further afield in South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire & Northamptonshire. Our courses take place at approved venues across these locations. A member of our team will provide a front of house service at all courses we run.
WHAT TRAINING DO WE OFFER?
We offer both clinical & non-clinical training courses covering subjects such as Wound Care, CPR, Clinical Coding, Falls-Fractures & Frailty, plus many more! We are not a training provider ourselves, instead we collaborate with external training providers who have been specially selected based on their professionalism, excellence in their field & quality-assured training credentials
WHO ATTENDS?
The professions of our delegates is very broad, but encompasses the following:-
- GP
- Nurse
- Team Manager
- Practice Manager
- Receptionist
- Administrator

HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
The training we offer is either funded, part-funded or ‘at cost’ for organisations to access. Where funding has been secured, this will usually be from local CCG’s, Health Education England & private sector organisations.
Where appropriate attendees may be present, we recognise the mutual benefit of inviting organisations to sponsor PCDC courses by way of a promotional stand & literature etc.
