Meet the Team

James Cutler

Executive Director
James Cutler has worked for the PCDC since 2015. He is the Executive Director and leads on the development of courses that take place. Before joining the PCDC, James worked for Derby & Derbyshire Local Medical Committee as the assistant Director of Business Development and Liaison, working with GP Practices across the whole of Derbyshire. James previously worked for Nottingham North and East CCG (also PBC prior to the CCG being established), from 2008 as a Practice Liaison Manager supporting GP practices directly.

Chris Locke

Chairman of the Board of Directors
Chris Locke founded PCDC in 2014 and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors . It is Chris' responsibility to support the Executive Director and to lead the Board of Directors in ensuring that PCDC is well managed, remains solvent and is compliant with legislative requirements and its articles of association. An established senior manager, facilitator, trainer and writer, Chris has worked with primary care professionals for over 30 years, retiring after 20 years as Chief Executive of Nottinghamshire Local Medical Committee in 2016.

Lauren Porter

Head of PLT Events and Communications
Lauren is the Head of PLT Events and Communications, and she joined the team in 2018. Before joining PCDC, Lauren worked for Erewash Health - a GP Federation in Derbyshire as Project Co-ordinator. Lauren worked closely with the CCG and assisted in the development of the vanguard and supported in the setup of new services locally. Lauren currently manages the Protected Learning Time (PLT) events for Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB, Bassetlaw and Erewash in Derbyshire.

Zoe Heath

IG Service Administrator
Zoe is our IG Service Administrator, this covers the Data Protection Officer (DPO), Freedom of Information (FOI) and DS&P Toolkit Services. Zoe's day to day tasks include processing, logging and monitoring queries raised via our DPO helpdesk. Zoe also processes new sign up and contract renewal requests.

Sophie Porter

Finance and Business Support Administrator
Sophie joined the team in 2019 as the Events Administrator but has now progressed to our Finance and Business Support Administrator. She is responsible for most aspects of Invoicing, processing payments and chasing outstanding invoices as well as supporting other areas of the business where required.

Sacha Millward

Events Manager
Sacha is our Events Manager and joined the team in 2022, bringing years of experience from a career in events, weddings and customer service. She manages the Protected Learning Time (PLT) events for Notts City & Erewash QUEST events.

Head of Training Events
Saskia is our Head of Training Events, she joined the team in 2022. Her main role is the management and delivery of Face to Face and online training events for organisations across the country.

IG Service Manager
Gemma is the IG Services Manager overseeing the contracts for the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Freedom of Information (FoI) services. She is also responsible for the Data Security and Protection (DS&P) Toolkit Service.
Chelsea Brooks

Chelsea Brooks

Events Administrator
Chelsea is our Events Administrator, and she joined the team in 2023. Her main role is supporting the Head of Training Events with admin for our Core events, including the delivery of Face to Face and Online training.
