Boost your skills with our New Immunisers’ 2-Day Foundation Course (Incl. Flu) — online programme running 12–13 January 2026, 09:00–16:30. Perfect for healthcare professionals new to immunisation, this course provides the essential knowledge and confidence needed to begin vaccinating safely.
Designed for registered professionals, the training is delivered by an Immunisation Specialist Nurse and follows the PHE (2018) National Minimum Standards.
Over two interactive days, you’ll cover how vaccines work, national schedules, vaccine-preventable diseases, seasonal flu, legal aspects, correct administration, communication skills and safe storage. The course includes all routine vaccinations from 8 weeks to 70 years.
Participants must join using a PC, laptop or large tablet with a working microphone. Please check your device can access Zoom before the session.
